Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates with drivers and customer service to maximize service to customers and operational efficiencywhile minimizing disruptions and cost Ensure company and carrier compliance of customer product delivery policies and procedures Monitor and liaise with customer operating departments (logistics, production, purchasing and customerservice) to effectively service the customer’s precise needs Proactively resolve issues that impact drivers and customers Monitor potential issues with drivers; develop contingency plans to avert potential failures that could impact thecustomer’s transaction Understanding of export and import documentation including commercial invoices, bill of ladings, certificates oforigin and other related / required documents for cross-border shipments.Communication:must be able to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) with all stakeholders (internal departments,customers, and partner-carriers). A proactive mindset is critical to ensuring consistent dependability andexcellence with risk management practices.Position/Personal Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years logistics experience in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service, and analytical problem-solving skills A strong detail orientation to ensure that all transactions and interactions are executed with great competenceand efficiency Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Organized, creative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Ability to learn and develop quickly through personal initiative Team player, willing to do what it takes to ensure successTechnical Requirements: TransPlus Fleet Manager experience is a requirement Experience with Samsara and Electronic Logs Comfortable with modern day technology with the ability to troubleshoot and roll out new technology updates Is required to have full understanding of MS Office Strong understanding and/or exposure to TMS-type systems would be a plus
