Are you a warehouse/parts technician who loves maintaining an organized space?Do you have forklift experience?Do you have fluent French writing skills?Would you like to work for a company that values the individual and collective growth of its team?If so, we may have the perfect job for you !!- – – – – – – – -Our client, a leader in trailer leasing, rental, maintenance, and repair, as well as other value-added services, is seeking Parts Technicians for their Lachine location.BenefitsTool & Boot allowance and prescription safety glasses programCompetitive benefit package including employee & family assistance plan, & a healthcare spending account.Excellent pension planInternal and external training opportunitiesShiftsDays: Mon – Fri, 7:00am – 3:30pmDescriptionCreate and maintain purchase orders and part orders for the service centerOversee the shipping and receiving of Parts, including inventory tracking and stockingMaintain an organized, clean and efficient working environmentPick-up & deliver parts or tools as required.Assist with Warranty items and handle customer inquiries.Get quotes from our suppliers, ordering of parts and assisting the service department for the parts needed for their quotes which includes processing incoming parts orders from service technicians; processing inbound and outbound partsAssist with the overall building and property maintenance and with various shop & equipment Safety Inspections.Handle inventory control to include cycle counts of stock and assist with inventory cycle count processing and reporting.Follow procedures and company policies to maintain highest level of safety, quality and cost-effectivenessSkillsAble to communicate in Canadian French and English.Strong customer service orientation, good communication skills, both verbal and written, solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete tasks.Strong computer skills – with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment.Experience and Education:Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory management.Valid Driver’s license and Forklift experience with valid license.Trailer/transportation industry experience.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs occasionally
