• Onsite working with team to assemble and install stairs• Communicating with production team with any quality issues and onsite feedback• Dealing professionally with Site Supervisors and Homeowners on installs• Respecting work area by keeping clean and organized in workshop and jobsites• Keeping Work Trucks clean and organized• Attending weekly Stair department meetings• At times driving and delivering material from client to a dedicated location• Represent client at all times in a professional manner while maintaining a positiveattitudeRequirements• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent• 1-2 years of experience as a Stair Installer, or in equivalent construction related field• Currently working in the trade• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR preferred• Working at heights trained is considered an asset• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner• Time management skills• Must possess a valid driver’s license• Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current• Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various renovation processes• Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and performstrenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions• Knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance• Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools• Ability to read building specifications, blueprints, and as-builds• Ability to work in a team environment with a minimum of supervision
