Are you an operations manager with cross dock warehouse experience?Are you comfortable working in colder environments?If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you!- – – – – – – – -Our client, a well established logistics provider for food products, is looking for a Terminal Manager to oversee their team of 100 + employees at their Baden location.ShiftMonday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm80K-100K annually based on experienceJob DescriptionResponsible to develop, manage, monitor and oversee all aspects of the terminal’s operationIncluding management of expenses, working with HR for hiring/dismissals, annual performance appraisals, employee training, employee grievances and concerns, security, movement of freight, routes and delivery schedules, customer complaints and concerns, payroll, equipment, building and yards.Maintain terminal within the company Mission Statement, with a high regard for customer service and contributing to the profitabilityMove freight according to delivery schedules and appointment times. Responsible for major decisions regarding all areas of terminal.Ensure that terminal environments are maintained to company standardsRecommend changes and highlight any problem areas to supervisor. Analyse lanes, profitability, delivery schedules, costing of terminal, etc.Monitor all equipment including power, trailer and dock handling equipment.Plan, monitor and maintain employee schedules, time off, vacations, overtime, etc.Investigate accidents and claims as required.Ensure all supervisory/managerial staff foster and encourage a positive and respectful work environment.All other duties as required.Experience & Education5 year of cross dock warehouse experience, preferably in lead roleAZ driving license and experience is preferredExperience operating forkliftWillingness to work in cold and have adequate attire (thermal underwear, safety boots, hat, extra layers, etc)Very good physical shape, ability to handle and lift goods up to 50 lbs
