Are you a truck/trailer technician looking for an exciting new career?Do you have a 310T license?Do you have fleet or retail experience?Do you have experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing gas and diesel engine equipment?If so, we may have the perfect job for you !!- – – – – – – – -Our client, a leader in logistics services, is looking for a Truck technician to join their growing Aberfoyle team.$30-$40 per hour with premiums for shiftsShift flexibility BenefitsSign on bonus – $1000-$3000 depending on experienceCompetitive benefit package including major medical, vision and dentalTool allowance, Boot & Safety allowance, UniformsEducation Assistance, Employee EventsDuties to include but are not limited to:Inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing Heavy Duty trucks and other vehiclesPerform mechanical and general appearance reconditioning of equipmentPerform all levels of preventive maintenance servicesPerform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.Repair and diagnosis of: Engines (gas and diesel), power train to include differentials, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, PTO’s and wheel ends, electrical systems including starters and alternators, steering systems and electronicsBrake systems including ABS, suspension systemsDiagnose and rebuild engines, transmissions, clutches, drive shaftsRoad test vehicles when necessaryPreventive maintenance, Mud flap and hanger repairs/replacementsBasic light and wiring repairs/replacementsTire re-torque, door seal repair/replacementElectrical system – Troubleshooting, nose plugs, light harness repair and replaceBody repairs – panel patches , nose plugs and interior repairsSkillsHighly detailed oriented and safety consciousAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong understanding of diagnostic softwareStrong team player and Professionalism in customer serviceComfortable with working in various weather conditionsExperience and Education:Minimum 2-4 year experience/apprenticeship as a heavy duty truck/trailer technician310t LicenseRed Seal Truck & Trailer Mechanic Certificate or equivalent training an asset!Drivers license required
